Welcome To Galloway Family Farm & Educational Center
A living, breathing legacy rooted in the heart of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. More than just a farm, we’re a multigenerational movement inspired by the grit, wisdom, and love of our ancestors—especially Emma Lee McDaniel Galloway and Calvin C. Galloway Sr. In their honor, we grow more than crops. We grow culture. We grow connection. We grow change.
Our mission is to nourish both land and lives through regenerative farming, youth mentorship, and cultural preservation. From curious students to budding growers, at-risk youth to everyday families, we equip our community with hands-on tools to thrive—on the land and in life. Whether it's learning how to grow food sustainably, cook with care, manage money, or protect generational land—we're planting seeds that last.
Our community garden doubles as an outdoor classroom, where every season brings new lessons. Our workshops pulse with tradition and innovation. And our farm? It’s where passion meets purpose—where soil turns to sustenance, and education becomes empowerment.
At Galloway Family Farm, we’re not just raising crops—we’re raising leaders. We’re preserving stories. We’re building a future where everyone has a seat at the table and something nourishing on their plate.
Our Motto:
"Get yourself a piece of land, because they ain’t making no more. And when you get it… always plant fruit-bearing trees, always plant a garden, and always raise animals you like to eat. On YOUR land, you may not eat what you want to… but you will never see a hungry day!"
